Given the rising number of older adults in the United States, the need for a healthcare workforce capable of providing dementia care will increase significantly. Licensed North Dakota pharmacists will receive and be assessed on interactive, live workshops, covering dementia care. A prospective interventional study examining the impact of free, interactive, five-hour workshops aimed at providing pharmacists with advanced training in Alzheimer's, vascular, Parkinson's, Lewy body dementias, and treatable causes of cognitive decline.
